Acorn Family Law is committed to providing an affordable, family violence and trauma informed legal service.
With extensive experience working in community legal centres (not for profit organisations) with clients impacted by family violence, we are aware of how the very experience of family violence impacts upon a client’s access to affordable legal support.
We recognise that the profoundly detrimental effects of family violence upon clients, as well as children, include trauma, ongoing risks to safety and stable accommodation as well as financial hardship, all of which impact upon a client’s access to legal assistance.
Acorn Family Law solicitors are mindful that clients may face multiple challenges and legal issues which can inform the way they engage with us. We believe that creating and building a relationship of trust is critical to how we can best support and work with our clients.
We can assist with family law parenting and property matters, family violence intervention orders along with related legal issues such as fines, tenancy, and criminal matters.
